Bay Area Dream Groups

Studing dreams in a group is extremaly rewarding and dramatically speeds learning on how to become a good interviewer for yourself and others.

We have monthly and weekly study grouns of 5-6 people. Each group lasts two hours.

If you would like to form a group with your collegues or friends, or would like coaching for a group you already lead, please contact. Dr. Delaney.


Cost: one year membership (up to 12 sessions (6:30 - 8:30 pm) is $600 or $200 for three sessions paid in advance. No refunds for missed sessions unless Dr. Delaney has to cancel. Each member commits to keep the group meetings as a top priority.

Before a new member joins our group, he or she schedules a private dream session with Dr. Delaney so that both the prospective member and Dr. Delaney can see if the group and the member would be good a good fit.

The group is assigned optional, but wonderfully productive dream study homework and members are encouraged to practice interviewing each other by phone or Skype between sessions. This significantly speeds learning, insight, and involvement.

Dreamers at all levels of proficiency are welcome to join because experienced interviewers sharpen their skills by working with beginners.

After your private session, you will learn the address of our meeting place. Please arrive 10 minutes before start time.

To do before attending group:

Read How to Conduct a Dream Interview

  • Read first two chapters of Breakthrough Dreaming: How to Tap the Power of your 24-Hour Mind if you have a copy.
  • If you don't have Breakthrough, but do have another book written by Dr. Delaney, read a chapter that describes the Dream Interview Method. (All the above is just to get you oriented and warmed up. Don't worry about memorizing anything!)
  • Please come prepared to share your contact information with the group. When we meet, we exchange phone numbers, home and cell in case of traffic or last minute emergency, so the group won't worry about you!
  • Bring a print out of your chosen dream to your sessions and seven (7) copies, typed out double-spaced, and leaving fully ½ the page (bottom) blank for our notes. Add a second page if you need to. Shorter dreams work best for group sessions. Save your long ones for private sessions or phone practice during the month with friends or other group members.
